Cows on line delay train

Train services in Fife were disrupted this morning after a rogue herd of cows made their way onto the wrong side of the tracks.

The curious bovine broke free from their field onto the line near Cardenden.

The escape bid caused delays to services on the Fife Circle line, while the unruly herd were rounded up by a local farmer.

The cows are now back in their field and trains are moo-ving normally.
