Manhunt after Kirkcaldy businessman Mohammed Nadeem Siddique shot dead in Glenrothes

A major manhunt was continuing after a prominent Fife businessman was shot dead in a flat in Glenrothes over the weekend.
Mohammed Nadeem Siddique (38), better known locally as ‘Toby’ and who lived in Kirkcaldy, was found dead at the flat in Forres Drive on Sunday night by police responding to a call that a firearm had been discharged within the house.
Another man, who has not been named, was taken to Dunfermline’s Queen Margaret Hospital having also suffered a gunshot wound.
However his injuries were not life threatening and he was later released after treatment.
Police also revealed they are keen to speak to a man in his 30s with short brown hair and of stocky build, described as wearing a dark zip-up top, who is thought to have been in the area at the time of the incident.
