Burntisland residents enjoyed their own take on a Rio Carnival to celebrate the World Cup in Brazil. The Black Star Steel band to give an authentic taste of Rio music and there was dancing, street acts, baton twirlers and many fancy dress costumes. The carnival kicked off with community groups, street entertainers and Burntisland Pipe Band parading down High Street. Other activities included the W3L Wrestlers, Kingdom of Fife Falconry Display, pony rides, face-painting and home-baking stalls. Picture by George McLuskie
