Man and boy die in crash near Auchtermuchty

A man and a boy were killed in a two-car crash near Auchtermuchty on Sunday afternoon.

The accident happened on the A91, near Demperston Farm, around 3.25pm.

A 56-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy died in the tragedy. It’s understood they were travelling in the same vehicle.

The A91 was closed for approximately four hours to allow investigation and recovery work to be carried out.

Inquiries continue, and anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101.
