St Andrews chef Jamie Scott is through to the next round of Masterchef: The Professionals after wowing judges on the hit programme last night.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jamie, a chef at Rocca Restaurant in St Andrews, reached the final of the series last night.
His pork belly dish won plaudits from judges Marcus Wareing, Gregg Wallace and Monica Galetti.
Jamie, who lives in Arbroath, Tweeted: “Great challenge today ecstatic too have been in the top 3! Onwards and upwards in the next round!”
There are now 10 contestants left in the programme and Jamie will be back on screen at 8pm on BBC 2 tonight when he goes head-to-head against another chef for a place in the next round.

Both chefs will be sent Mayfair’s Connaught Hotel to experience service in the two-Michelin-starred kitchen of French chef Helene Darroze.
They will then return to the studio to prepare a dish for Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti, who will then decide who progresses in the competition.
Jamie is the third chef with connections to St Andrews to enjoy success in Masterchef: The Professionals in the past two years.
Last year Scott Davies, a chef at The Adamson in St Andrews, and Adam Handling, who worked at The Fairmont, both reached the final of the prestigious competition.
