The Voice star Stevie McCrorie back to the day job after wowing judges
ByClaire Warrender
Fife’s singing fireman came down to earth with a bump as he returned to work at Kirkcaldy fire station.
Stevie McCrorie wowed all four judges on BBC talent show The Voice on Saturday night with his stunning rendition of Kodaline’s All I Want.
But it was back to training and checking equipment for the 29-year-old on Monday morning as he rejoined his Blue Watch colleagues for a day shift.
And although his fellow-firefighters were full of jokes, they admitted they were very proud of the youngest member of their team.
After joining Stevie in an encore of All I Want in the fire bay of the Dunnikier Road station, watch manager Craig Robertson said: “I’m quite proud of what he’s achieved.
“It’s a great opportunity for him. We don’t want to lose him but he could do really well.”
