The front of Cupar’s County Buildings is in line for a repaint.
Cupar councillor Margaret Kennedy said: “There have been some negative comments regarding the frontage of the County Buildings in terms of its current paintwork.
“Given the more open vista, I guess it is much more noticeable as people go about the town. Indeed, it is some years since we were first presented with the pink paint.
“I am delighted to advise that there is a repaint of the frontage factored into the next financial year’s planned maintenance proposal.
“These proposals are to be presented to and considered by the area committee. Discussions are currently progressing with planning and Historic Scotland to confirm the colour and finish of the external works.
“It is hoped these works will be completed by the summer/autumn.”
She added: “Hopefully the proposals will be accepted and we can look forward to a refreshed County Buildings, to tie in with all the works on the war memorial, former ATS site and the Haugh Park.”
