Drivers are being warned about overnight roadworks on the A92 in Fife this week.
A £100,000 project by Transport Scotland will see a 2km stretch of the A92 undergo improvement works between Five Roads and Forgan roundabouts, to the south of the Tay Road Bridge.
The overnight works start at 7.30pm on Wednesday and will last for three nights.
Repairs to the surface will be carried out along with the upgrade of road markings and road studs.
A traffic management convoy system will be in operation with a 10mph speed limit between 5.30pm and 6am.
There will be no restrictions to traffic outwith these times.
BEAR Scotland’s north east unit representative, Andy Thompson, said: “This scheme will improve both the general condition and safety of the A92 for motorists between the Five Roads and Forgan roundabouts.
“The works are being carried out overnight to minimise delays. We would, however, encourage motorists to plan their journey in advance and allow some extra time.”
