Woman ‘badly shaken’ in Fife incident has given birth to healthy boy

A heavily pregnant woman who was allegedly subjected to a vicious assault and robbery in Fife last month has given birth to a healthy baby boy.
The 32-year-old, whose identity has not been released, was injured and ”badly shaken” following her ordeal, which took place on October 4.
She was almost eight months pregnant at the time and has now given birth.
Meanwhile, police also revealed that a man has been traced in relation to the incident.
The 24-year-old has been charged with attempted robbery and it is understood he will appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in connection with the allegation next month.
Detective Constable Lynsey Johnston paid tribute to members of the public who got in touch with information following a police appeal.
