Police are warning people who recently used a Cowdenbeath cash machine to check their accounts. The ATM at town’s Post Office has suffered some damage and local officers are concerned bank customers may have been left out of pocket. Anyone who used the cash machine over the last couple of days has been advised to look at their transactions. It is not the first time cash machines in the kingdom have been targeted by criminals. There have been a number of incidents where “skimming” devices were fitted to machines to read account data.
