Fife man jailed after being found guilty of six rape charges

A Fife man has been jailed for ten years after being convicted of a string of sex attacks.
David McDougall was branded a danger to all women as he was sentenced for a string of sex offences at Glasgow High Court.
The trial was told that McDougall raped a vulnerable 30-year-old woman days after being freed from custody to await trial for attacks on five other women.
One of his victims was attacked in front of her baby son while another was kicked while she was pregnant.
The 31-year-old was found guilty of 14 charges including six rapes and other sex offences and physical assaults in Methil, Buckhaven , Glenrothes, and Kirkcaldy that went back to 1998.
He was also given a lifelong restriction order by Judge Michael O’Grady.
