Glenrothes incident: four teenagers appear on attempted murder charges
ByAileen Robertson
Four Glenrothes teenagers have appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Ben Reid, 17, Gavin Somerville, 18, and 19-year-olds Dylan Loch and Keiran Moran appeared in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court, where they also faced two charges of assault to severe injury.
All four made no plea or declaration and the cases against them were continued for further examination.
Reid, Somerville and Loch were granted bail but Moran was remanded in custody.
The youths were arrested following an attack in Woodside Road, Glenrothes, which left three men in their fifties needing hospital treatment.
One of the men, a 50-year-old, was described as being in a critical condition at Edinburgh’s Western General Hospital.
