Two men accused of brandishing a knife and a knife sharpener in a St Andrews takeaway have appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Nazif Aslan, 32, of Allan Robertson Drive, St Andrews, appeared on petition alongside Temir Tozlukaya, 31, of Rattray Street, Monifieth.
Aslan faces two charges: behaving in a threatening and abusive manner by brandishing the knife, and assaulting a man by cutting his finger with the knife in Dervish takeaway on Monday.
Tozlukaya faces one charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner by brandishing a knife sharpener.
Both cases were continued for further examination and both Aslan and Tozlukaya were granted bail.
