Police confirm body found in woods was missing teenager Dylan McIndoe

The identity of a body found in woods in Fife has been confirmed as 17-year-old Dylan McIndoe.
Dylan went missing on Sunday after leaving a family barbecue in Buckhaven. It is understood he had been intending to walk home but never arrived.
A dog walker made the grim discovery of the teenager’s body on the edge of woods in Coaltown of Wemyss on Monday afternoon.
Dylan’s family and police hunting for the youngster were informed of the find shortly afterwards.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that the body was that of Dylan McIndoe and that a thorough examination had been conducted of the scene and there were no suspicious circumstances.
