Fife tourist attractions have been shortlisted for top industry honours.
St Andrews Aquarium, Cupar pub the Boudingait, and watersports company Blown Away have all been named as regional finalists in the Scottish Thistle Awards.
The three destinations are competing in the best visitor attraction, friendliest pub/bar category and best outdoor/adventure experience at the awards, the winners of which will be announced next month.
Scottish Thistle Awards industry panel chairman and VisitScotland board member Stephen Carter said: “Fife is home to a wealth of tourism talent of the highest calibre and my congratulations go to St Andrews Aquarium on its success in being shortlisted as a Thistle Awards regional finalist.
“I wish it the best of luck in the next stages of the competition.
“These awards provide us with a perfect opportunity to celebrate and reward the hard work, dedication and innovation taking place within the tourism sector throughout the country during what has been an exceptional year for the industry in Scotland.”
