The 37-year-old man was injured when some timber fell onto his leg at Kingdom Timber Engineering on Thursday morning. A spokesman for the company said the saw operator had remained conscious throughout the incident and had not been seriously hurt. He said, “Some timber fell off a trestle onto his leg and he has a suspected sprained ankle according to paramedics.” The company is investigating the incident. An ambulance was called at around 10.20am and the man taken to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline for an X-ray.
