Around 50 residents of the Forth View Care Centre on Sea Road were woken at around 4.30am after a blaze began in the dining area. They were removed to a safe part of the building as crews from Fife Fire and Rescue Service tackled the flames. All residents and staff have been accounted for and Balhousie Care Group, who operate the home, are currently contacting relatives. * Read a full report in Wednesday’s Courier
