Missing Allan Bryant: father charged over Facebook video
ByNews reporter
The father of missing Glenrothes man Allan Bryant has been charged by police after complaints were made about a video he posted online.
Allan Bryant has since removed the clip from a Facebook page set up to help find his son, Allan Jnr, who has been missing since last November.
Mr Bryant has also posted a new video on the page, which has over 11,000 followers, confirming that he has been charged by police in relation to the original video after it drew complaints over its content.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We can confirm that a 48-year-old man has been charged with an offence under the Telecommunications Act 2003.”
Allan Jnr has not been seen since November 3 after leaving Styx nightclub in Glenrothes.
Despite the largest police search in Fife’s history and a high-profile family campaign, there remains no trace of the 24-year-old.
