The incident happened just off the Kirkcaldy west turn-off, outside the entrance to Chapel Home Farm restaurant. Police, fire service and paramedics attended. A fire service spokeswoman said they were alerted at 1.52pm. One fire crew from Kirkcaldy attended. They extinguished the blaze using two hosereel jets. No one was injured.
