Police searching for a missing man from Bishopbriggs believe he may be in Fife.
Manvir Singh was last seen by a friend in Renfield Street in Glasgow city centre at around 4.45pm on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old is described as 5ft 10 in height, of slim build with short black hair and a goatee beard.
When he was last seen he was wearing a navy blue hooded top with yellow markings on it, dark coloured jeans and tan coloured boots. He was carrying a black bag.
Inspector John Hunter of Kirkintilloch Police Office said: “Despite extensive inquiries by Police Scotland there have been no confirmed sightings of Manvir; however it is believed that he may possibly be in the Fife area, in particular St Andrews.
“I would also urge Manvir himself to contact his family or Police Scotland as soon as possible to confirm that he is safe and well.
“It is out of character for Manvir not to keep in contact with his family and they are concerned for his safety.
“I would urge anyone who recognises his description, or has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact Police Scotland at Kirkintilloch Police Office on 101.”
