Fife Folk Museum in Ceres has opened its doors for the season following a major refurbishment.
Over the winter, a new visitor centre was built at the attraction in High Street.
The museum will be open daily from 10.30am to 4.30pm until October 31. Admission is £4 for adults, £3 for concessions and free for children, with reduced rates for group visits.
Its collections include agricultural and craft tools, costume, toys and games, domestic equipment, pottery, paintings and more. Due to popular demand, the museum is running a series of geological walks this spring.
Led by Professor John McManus, the first walk takes place this Sunday with a stroll around Dura Den. Among the fascinating features to be explored is the site of the area’s famous fish fossils.
Walkers are asked to meet at Ceres car park at 10am and the walk is expected to last two to three hours. To book contact Fife Folk Museum on 01334 828180. A donation of £4 towards museum funds is requested.
