A Fife psychic facing benefit fraud charges has had her case deferred.
Kathleen Coutts, 48, of Mars Gardens, Wormit, faces charges that between February 19 and October 7 2012 she failed to notify Fife Council she was in receipt of earnings from part-time work and received housing benefit of £10,768 to which she was not entitled.
The presence of Ms Coutts, a former newspaper columnist, was excused at Cupar Sheriff Court on Thursday and the case was continued without plea until May 1.
