Craigtoun Park to open every day for Easter holidays
ByThe Courier Reporter
Craigtoun Park is to remain open every day during April for the Easter school holidays.
For the rest of the year, attractions such as the adventure park and Puffin Billy will be available at weekends in May and June and September and October and every day during July and August.
The park itself is open every day and is free to enter. The directors of Friends of Craigtoun Limited meet every month on the first Tuesday of each month.
Current projects include the upgrade of the path linking St Andrews with Craigtoun through Lumbo Den.
There has also been preparatory work to introduce two trim trails and some ground works for the train station and shed.
The annual meeting takes place at the park on Tuesday June 17. This will include a formal part for the directors and an “open house” for all Friends of the Park.
Plans for a country fair are being drawn up for the weekend of Saturday June 28 and Sunday June 29.
