Staff at the Scottish Deer Centre in Cupar can “bearly” contain their excitement as they prepare to introduce their two newest residents.
Mother bear Nellie and her four-year-old-cub Loki have arrived from Blair Drummond Safari Park near Stirling and are settling in to their £40,000 purpose-built enclosure ahead of their first public viewing on Monday.
Various redevelopments and an ongoing restructuring programme at the safari park meant they had to be rehomed and the deer centre was more than happy to welcome them to Fife.
