With a year to go until the Open returns to the home of golf, homeowners in St Andrews and the surrounding areas are being urged to take advantage of the opportunity to let their properties.
Pagan Osborne already has more than 60 properties in the area.
A number of the most desirable residences have already been snapped up.
Head of property sales and letting in Fife, Linda Black, said: “Next July may seem a long way off but this is one of the biggest events to come to St Andrews and there is an immense demand for properties.
“With the 2014 Open recently finished, thoughts are now firmly on next year’s championship.
“We are already letting properties to parties and would urge homeowners with quality properties to make a decision sooner rather than later about taking advantage of this great opportunity.”
Properties currently being marketed range in price from £2,000 for a house which sleeps five people in Cupar to £17,000 for a house which sleeps 11 people in St Andrews town centre.
Ms Black added: “Renting a property is a very popular option for groups visiting for the championship as it provides a homely base where they can truly experience St Andrews and the surrounding areas.”
