Fife Police are investigating the discovery of a man’s body in a flat in Buckhaven.
It is thought the 22-year-old, who has not been named, had a history of drug abuse and had been released from hospital a short time before his death.
His body was found in a hostel in Michael Street in the late morning on Tuesday and the police medical examiner and scenes of crime officers were called to the scene.
A spokesman for Fife Constabulary said inquiries were at an early stage but there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
