A 30-year-old man has been bailed by police after a collision in Lincolnshire in which a Glenrothes man died.
A 24-year-old man from Glenrothes died in hospital following the crash on the southbound side of the carriageway at about 5pm on Saturday.
It happened in the area between Stamford and Grantham close to the South Witham turn off on the A1.
The 30-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Lincolnshire Police have appealed for information about the crash.
No further information on the Glenrothes victim was released. A police spokesman said: “We are in the process of informing the relatives and friends of the deceased and cannot release further details at the present time.”
