The operation, which led to a full search of the property in Dunsire Street, happened at around 8.30pm. Police confirmed the operation but said no firearm was found and no charges or arrests were made. Fife Constabulary said the police response was “proportionate” to the operation, which involved specially trained officers and armed police.
