An historic Fife ship will set sail this weekend as it embarks on a summer education tour.
The Scottish Fisheries Museum’s 112-year-old herring drifter Reaper will take to the waters of the east coast of Scotland to teach children about life at sea.
The boat, operated by the Anstruther-based museum, will stop off at ports along the coastline, where staff will show local children about the working life of early 20th Century fishermen.
The boat’s first port of call will be Tayport, where she will arrive on Sunday and remain until Tuesday.
Members of the public can also visit the boat from 10am, although priority will be given to groups of schoolchildren.
Members of staff will be available to answer questions from members of the public from around 3pm onwards.
