Officers are continuing the probe into the death of 29-year-old Latvian man Aleksandrs Sokolovs who was found at his Glenrothes home on Monday. Police Scotland has confirmed a 28-year-old man has been arrested for a matter “in connection with the police investigation”, which is ongoing. A spokesman for the force confirmed they are following a “positive line of enquiry” into events surrounding the Tummel Road incident. The body of Mr Sokolovs was found when police were called to his home in the Balfarg amid concerns for his welfare. For the latest on this story get Friday’s Courier.
