Students in Fife are to remember the 148 people shot dead following a siege by militants in Kenya.
Heavily armed gunmen stormed the Garissa University College on April 2 and took over 700 people hostage.
Most of those killed or injured were students.
A minute’s silence will be held at the University of St Andrews on Monday.
Students will gather in St Salvator’s Quad for the memorial at 11am.
Similar acts of remembrance have been held by students around Europe.
Spokesman Mary Stevens said: “This was a truly shocking event affecting students and staff in the University of Garissa, their families and indeed the entire Kenyan nation.”
The attack was the worst in the country so far by the Somali al-Shabab group which is affiliated to al-Qaeda.
