Maggie’s Fife is £3000 better off thanks to fundraising by RBS staff.
Branches from across Fife held book sales and other activities to sponsor a day at Maggie’s.
A new fundraising campaign launched by the cancer caring centre, Sponsor A Day, seeks to raise enough money to treat people with cancer for one day.
Head of Maggie’s Fife Elspeth Salter said she was delighted to welcome some RBS staff to meet some of the people who will directly benefit from their support.
“Sponsoring a day in our centre will help us keep offering a warm welcome to anyone in our community affected by cancer,” she said.
Jane Paxton, local chief executive officer of RBS South Fife, added: “I have been so proud of my staff and all of our customers who have helped us raise this amount of money.”
