Due to be completed next year, it will create a safer cycling route for commuters and school pupils. Councillor Alex Campbell said the project which would deliver real value to the community. “Creating this safe route will hopefully encourage many more people to consider using cycling as a way of travelling around the area,” he said. “I hope that the cycle path will encourage more young people from the Benarty area to consider cycling to school,” he added.
