What’s in a name? Pupils given the final word on new Fife school title

Pupils from across Levenmouth are to be given the responsibilty of naming their new secondary school.
A shortlist of five names has been put together for the new super campus, with students at Buckhaven and Kirkland High Schools being given the chance to vote for their favourite.
The potential names have been put forward by members of the community following a consultation exercise, with over 100 submissions whittled down to just five.
The names are Levenmouth Academy, Levenmouth High School, Methilhaven High School, East Fife High School and Bayview High School.
Voting will commence later this week with the chosen name announced on Monday.
