Thousands enjoy a flavour of Fife at Crail Food Festival
ByJonathan Watson
Foodie heaven came to Fife over the weekend with the conclusion of this year’s Crail Food Festival.
Thousands of visitors descended on the East Neuk to enjoy the flavours and the labours of dozens of local chefs and producers.
Now in its fifth year, the culmination of the three days of festivities was the now traditional “Harbour Festival” on Sunday.
Undeterred by the chilly weather, visitors flocked to the waterfront to sample shellfish, smokies, hog roast and the traditional seaside ice-cream, washed down with homemade lemonade, with Ian Fyfe and his four-year-old son Curtis just some of those enjoying the day.
