Police Scotland have named the man killed in a horrific road accident in Fife last week as Alexander Sinclair from Grangemouth.
The 66-year-old man died following a colliion between a white Citroen van and a red motorcycle on the A985 west of the Limekilns junction around 11.40am on Thursday, June 11.
Mr Sinclair, who was driver of the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female passenger of the motorcycle was also injured and was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
Police Scotland Inspector Brenda Sinclair said: “My condolences go to Alexander’s family, who have respectfully requested that they be left to grieve in private at this very difficult time.
