Overnight closures on A92 for improvement works

A section of the A92 will be closed overnight for the next two nights to allow for essential carriageway improvement works.

The northbound carriageway will be closed at Cadham junction from 7.30pm till 6.30am with a diversion via the A911 and B969.

Southbound traffic will be controlled by a convoy system of traffic management.

This follows an overnight closure at Bankhead roundabout on Monday.

Transport Scotland is investing £40,000 in the works which involve the application of high friction surfacing and refreshing road markings.

Bear Scotland spokesman Andy Thomson said: “These works are being carried out overnight to minimise delays.”
