A man has been jailed for an attempted murder at a Fife car wash.
Joseph Gilogley (27) attacked a 34-year-old man in Kincardine in September last year.
The victim suffered head injuries as a result of the incident.
Gilogley was sentenced to eight years in prison at the High Court in Glasgow
Detective Inspector Colin Robson, said: “The attack on the victim of this crime was both brutal and senseless and shocked the local community.
“It resulted in a large scale investigation and the sentence now given reflects the seriousness of the crime for which he was convicted and I would like to thank everyone who assisted the police with this inquiry.’’
