Fife’s senior footballers sprung into action as a new season of walking football kicked off. The sport, aimed at people over the age of 50, consists of 45-minute sessions that include a warm-up, a match of two halves and a cool-down. Rules include no running and the ball is not to be kicked above waist height. Four weekly sessions are being hosted every week at leisure centres throughout the region.
