Communities around Fife have been making the most of late summer, with fairs and festivals in full swing.
In St Andrews, the Lammas Market provided all the fun of the fair for residents, visitors and tourists of all ages.
One of Europe’s oldest medieval markets, the event today includes fairground rides, a continental market, stalls and street food and drink.
It runs until 11pm on Tuesday.
Elsewhere in Fife, Aberdour Festival drew to a close with the traditional Poems and Pints in the Aberdour Hotel courtyard providing the finale to 10 days of culture, sport and family activities.
Meanwhile, Burntisland’s summer fairground continues to draw crowds to the Links.
More community events are in the pipeline this month, including Culross Summer Fete and Farmers’ Market
Culross and Torryburn Church and Culross Development Trust have teamed up again for the event. In addition to the traditional stalls selling home baking, produce, plants and much more, there will be a wide variety of farmers’ market stalls, demonstrations of country crafts and children’s entertainment including face painting and horse and cart rides.
