Sheku Bayoh’s grieving partner fears she has been targeted by a tyre slasher.
Collette Bell, 27, found her car vandalised outside her home in Kirkcaldy.
She was due to attend a meeting of the campaign group set up to fight for justice for the 31-year-old who died in police custody in May when she discovered the damage to her Vauxhall Corsa.
She said: “It’s hard not to think I’ve been targeted.
“Where I live is in a dead-end and there were five other cars parked all round mine, but not one was touched.
“Someone must have deliberately come into the cul-de-sac with the intention of slashing my tyres.”
With no other means of transport, Collette was unable to attend the meeting.
She said: “This was the first meeting I had felt up to attending.
“I had screwed up my courage to go that evening and then this happened.
“It’s such a setback.”
