Controversial funnyman Frankie Boyle is used to playing some of the biggest stages in show business. And for a man who has conquered the comedy circuit, there is but one place left to go Kelty. Only 200 tickets will go on sale for the Scottish star’s Fife fundraising efforts for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland. The gig is the brainchild of Kirkcaldy events manager Stephen Barbour, of SPB Events. “I launched the MV Festival at Aviemore a couple of years ago and am good friends with the Canadian comedian Craig Campbell. “He said to me Frankie was looking to try material and could I plan something.” The comedian was happy to oblige. Stephen added: “I am from Kirkcaldy so I wanted the gig to be in Fife.” Tickets go on sale at 9am on Monday at www.ukgigsonline.com. * For much more on this story see Monday’s Courier or try our digital edition.
