Police are appealing for information following a break-in and theft in Glenrothes.
A small sum of money was stolen during the incident which happened between 6am and 7.40am on Friday.
Someone forced entry to a van within the Saltire Centre at Pentland Park and took a two-figure sum of money.
Glenrothes Community Sergeant Kenny Greig said: “Local officers will be providing an increased high-visibility presence in the area over the coming days.
“They will also be speaking to local residents, and offering helpful security information and advice.
“I would appeal to any member of the public with information about this incident to get in touch.
“I’m particularly interested in hearing from members of the public who may have been in the area at around 6.45am, and I understand that the area is busy with dog walkers during this time.”
