Towns across Fife were ringing out with Christmas cheer at the weekend,
Festive fun began in earnest, with Christmas lights being turned on in St Andrews, Cupar, Kirkcaldy, Leven and Cowdenbeath.
Little Mia Brett, daughter of Cowdenbeath FC player Dean Brett, pressed the button to light up Cowdenbeath.
Mia was the star attraction at the town’s winter wonderland, which included an ice rink and fair as well as a visit from a certain Santa Claus.
Santa then had to hot-foot it to Leven to meet children there, while a pipe band and school choir provided entertainment as the lights were lit.
Meanwhile, in Kirkcaldy the festivities went with a bang as the annual lantern parade, led by local drum group Drumatik, culminated in an impressive fireworks display.
Participants were also treated to a special performance of Bringing Of The Light by primary pupils.
