Officers provided an update on the investigation at a press conference in Kirkcaldy Police Station on Thursday afternoon.
Officers have appealed for witnesses to track down the suspect involved in Wednesday’s robbery at the Bank of Scotland in Mitchelston Industrial Estate, with the man still said to be at large.
