Police investigating report of sex assault in Rosyth

Police are investigating a report that a 19-year old woman was sexually assaulted in Rosyth late on Monday night.

Police cordoned off an area on Queensferry Road, close to a Chinese restaurant, following the alleged incident around 11.50pm.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A woman was assaulted in Rosyth last night and police inquiries are ongoing.”
