A Fife student has become an internet celebrity after posting a joke tweet about his part-time job.
Andrew Paterson, who studies at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, renewed his contract with supermarket Asda at the weekend.
He then posted pictures of him signing his contract online, spoofing the way footballers announce winning a new contract, and holding up his Asda uniform as if it was a football shirt.
But his tweet soon began to spread and has now been retweeted more than 18,000 times.
Among those who retweeted the message were comedian Kevin Bridges, who has over 960,000 followers.
Others suggested that rival supermarkets may now want to poach Andrew because of his fame:
@AndrewPaterson_ if I was Sainsbury's PR Dept I'd come in with big money for you.
