Focus on young Syrians’ struggle at St Andrews University

Young Lens is a group of young people from Aleppo and Damascus who have been using photography to record their experience of the war in Syria.
An exhibition of their work was presented in St Andrews as part of the Stand for Syria festival.
The festival is being organised by the Centre for Syrian Studies at the university. Taking in movies, music, graffiti and arts exhibitions, it aims to raise awareness in Scotland of Syrians’ struggles amid the conflict.
It also seeks to raise funds for the education of Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
