Motorcyclist in serious condition in hospital after three-vehicle accident in Fife

A motorcyclist is in a serious condition in hospital following a road accident in Fife.
The 34-year-old’s motorbike was involved in a three-vehicle smash on the A915 Standing Stane Road on Tuesday evening.
He was rushed to Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital, where he remains.
Police in Fife have appealed for witnesses to the collision between Kirkcaldy and Windygates, involving the Kawasaki motorbike, an Audi A4 and a Volkswagen Polo.
Sergeant James Henry, of road policing, said: “The biker involved sustained serious injuries and we’re currently working to establish the full circumstances surrounding this collision.
“Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any information which can help with our enquiries is asked to come forward.”
The collision occurred around 6.15pm and the road was closed until 10.30pm.
