BREAKING NEWS: Man dies in Glenrothes shooting incident

One person died and another was injured in a shooting incident in Glenrothes late on Sunday night.

The Courier understands that the incident occurred in the Tanshall area of the town some time after 9pm.

There was little information available about the incident, however the victim is believed to be a male.

The injured person is also understood to be male.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance and although the extent of his injuries was unknown, he is not thought to have been seriously hurt.
